Fairly obvious. A loose tunic and pants, both tattered and patches sounds good. Like, the sleeves probably going just a little past his elbows, and maybe the pants tatters ended mid calf? So you could see the contract around his face, neck, bit of his chest, forearms, lower calves, and feet.

And I'm still thinking maybe some sort of sandles. Or perhaps some sort of simple shoes?

OH, and I think some sort of long scarf would be good on him. Maybe something like a scarf/turban that wraps around his head and neck? Maybe.
