OoX should be before TMC, IMO. I think the quotes by Din and Nayru in TMC make that clear. It does not, however, have to be directly before TMC. There can be games between.

My thread is taking longer than expected. I don't know when I'll be done. It could be awhile. I've found some pretty interesting things. I can't wait to share them.

Some clothes, Xenosaga III, a Yu Yu Hakusho game and a book detailing fractals; pretty good I'd say. How about you?

Well it depends. I'm doing some more research and I might end up moving them from before OoT anyway. You'll find out in my thread.

Place LoZ, AoL, and OoX before OoT. That's where they are in my new timeline. All will be explained when I finish the thread.

Things are great! High school is really easy, contrary to what my middle school teachers kept telling me.

Let's just say theorizing is going to get a little less boring when I post my new timeline thread...I'm working on it as we speak.

Wavebirds are nice, although I read that they have a few frames of input lag compared to the Wii remote, or a wired controller.

My cat knocked over my Wii a few weeks ago and it won't eject disks now. It'll play the game that's in it (which is Brawl), but I can't play anything else. My grandfather usually gives me like $50 for birthdays/Christmas, so I'll probably spend like $30 on a Gamecube, since I play my GC games more than Wii games

Yeah I'd probably not show up here much if something really bad happened in my family.

Yeah it has a longer cord too. And the screw driver is so I can take off one of the plates on my purple one and put it on my white one, so I have a white/purple controller

Haha. Well he's doing military intelligence, so no infantry. Just not gonna see him for 6 months

That's cool. My brother actually gave me one as a random gift earlier this year (had a really crappy battery). I'm pretty sure it was stolen, though; because on the back it said "To my guapo, love papa" lol. I could post a pic if you want

    And this: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...en-70-1fe.html

Otherwise I'm wanting to just spend time with my dad, since he leaves for Army basic training in like a week and a half...

    How 'bout you?

Hmm. I have been thinking, and after some lurking on ZL I've discovered this... For some reason I never talked some random guy in the Castle Town when playing TP...

    http://forums.legendsalliance.com/to...1&#entry393081

Which sort of clarifies that Hyrule was called a 'holy land' or 'Sacred Realm' in the past. And I am confused as the word for Sacred Realm ( 聖地 ) is thrown around in TP a good nine times, describing things like the Gorons sacred ground etc. It's like nintendo is playing a prank on the word... or its jst very very generic.

I am gonna have to ponder this for a while...

I've been listening to the music from Rent since I was like 8, and I saw the show for the first time like 2 months ago. It was friggin' awesome.

    Congrats

    Quote:
But the resting place of the Triforce is the SACRED REALM!!!!! Not Hyrule.
It is. And the place the goddess first landed in is Hyrule, the Sacred Realm. Realize that they use the same description for Sacred Realm in all games, so we shouldn't needlessly diffrentiate between them just becaus someone decideds to translate it diffrently.
Also, know that there is no "realm".

    Quote:
This proves nothing. You've given me no concrete evidence for anything except that the ToT/the seal was made by the Royal family. It doesn't prove that RF had the Triforce beforehand.
Why did you agree with me earlier then? I never said I had undeniable proof it was actually the case, just that it was a logical conclusion, as things wouldn't add up otherwise. If it was proven we wouldn't be having this discussion.

    Quote:
I rest my case. The holy land can be interpreted both ways.
Lol? Sure it can, but 聖地 is specifically used when describing the place where the Triforce rest. TP is no exception to that. That Jumbi decided to translate it as "holy land" means essentially nothing.

    Quote:
    Because?
Because it's logical... Besides, didn't the Great King of AoL rule with the Triforce. And even he ended up trying to prevent it from ending up in the wrong hands. In OoT, its sealed behind by the ToT and the MS. And who possess the secret of the SR and the ToT? No other than the Royal Family. But true, there is no undeniable evidence this is actually the case. The Triforce could ALWAYS have been in the Sacred Realm until OoT. Just assuming it was in the hand of someone, then it must have been the Royal Family.

    Quote:
Jumbie says in his/her (what sex is Jumbi?) that s/he only uses Hyrule because it seems more logical. The translation is the holy land with no Hyrule.
What did you get that from? This sentence

    しかし、やがて聖地ハイラルを巡り争いが起こった
But at length, a rivalry ensued over Hyrule, the holy land.

clearly uses 聖地 ( Sacred Realm ) to describe イラル ( Hyrule ). 聖地 was used in the previous sentence to describe the place where the godness first landed. So it's quite obvious they meant it to be the same. Of course, NoA translated this with their own interpretation of it which is where things messed up.

Oh, and I think Jumbie is a male. Not that it matters...

    Quote:
    Wait what?
Because the Triforce need to have been in the hands of the Royal Family in at least one point before OoT.

    Quote:
um......er....I'm not sure what to say to this.
Too tired to explain this any further. You're right. No need to think to deeply itno this stuff.

Anyway, this is my perspective of things...

    - Goddess lands in whats called "Sacred Realm" and leaves the Triforce there. This place is also called Hyrule.
    - After a while, people and evil fight over it.
    - The Triforce is sealed away, and the place its sealed in instead begin called the Sacred Realm, because the Triforce is no longer in Hyrule.
