Hmmm so hard to pick. If you don't mind English translations, FE4 in supposed to be the best of the series, but is a bit hard to start off with. FE7 has a large tutorial, its pretty useful for newcomers to the game series I guess. 7 is my favourite one. Lots of cool characters especially Guy. <3

Plus you can actually pair characters, and then play as their children in the second half. Endless hours of selective breeding. (Although to be honest, I just hack and get Bridget to father absolutely everybody. Despite the fact she's female).

Forget Megaman, play Fire Emblem. Specifically, play 4: Seisen no Keifu. War, religion, politics, rape, murder, child murder, humanity, incest. It is an awesome game, and one of the few games Nintendo has made which deserves the title "deep".
