Punchline: Dude, they have guitar riffs all over their songs, its like they have one rhythm guitar and then a dude who solos for the entire song....
Paramore: For being so young they write incredible awesome pop-punk tunes. They can only get better with age, I honestly believe.
Panic at the Disco: Unlike many, I think their first record is a bit of pop brilliance, and the second is them trying too hard to be The Beatles.
OutKast: Ah-ha, hush that fuss.
Okkervil River: The walk a fine line between indie rock and indie folk, but no matter what Will Sheff has a set of pipes on him when he belts out.
Moneen: 'The Red Tree' is such a good album, takes their punk/alternative rock/pop-punk/emotive hardcore sound and totally just applies it to a wide...
Mogwai: Yum yum post rock is tasty and good for relaxing.
Motion City Soundtrack: This band has never released bad material or a bad song. They are consistently awesome.
New Found Glory: They probably would be disparaged here if it was like 2001, but luckily it is 2009 right now and people have forgotten about them,...
Metric: Awesome Canadian indie rock. Emily Haines is a neat chick. I think my neighbour's son is the guitarist.
Margot and the Nuclear So and So's: There's a lot of people in this band. One of the plays the cello, I'm pretty sure.
Lupe Fiasco: One of my favourite hip-hop artists now and ever.
Less Than Jake: These guys have been one of my favourite bands for a really long time now.
