Florida you say? Maybe panthers used to perdominentally live in that area (hence the Siminolians named the lake after it) or when the spaniards landed there they named it after the Siminolian language for panther. Long story short, there must have been some sort of misinterpretation of the word throughout the ages.

The only thing I could possibly come up with is that the fish are in danger, and if they don't jump into a pond soon their lives (or at least one of them) would end. Living a life unballance with a yin or a yang can't be good. If the tiger endangers them, then that's what I'm worried about.

And I'm not seriously thinking about getting this as a tattoo (or anything as a tattoo at this moment). It was really just a cool art concept design (if I knew how to paint, I would have done it by now).

Maybe, and this is a stretch here, the name was used for a sabretooth tiger. They were around here a few thousand years ago, right? And of course the native americans were here as well (they are the descendants of the cavemen hunters that tracked them and wolly mammoths through their the ice age). Or maybe their word for tiger just means "big cat", and we have pumas in the states...

Speaking of tigers, I've had this idea for a tattoo for quite awhile now. In the zodiac I'm Pieces, and in the Chinese zodiac, I'm a tiger. So I was thinking of showing the front of a tiger closely leaning forward (almost looks like he's getting ready to pounce) drinking out of a large puddle of water as his green eyes are intently looking forward. And there are two rather large coy fish (one black, the other white) swimming around the pool in yin-yang formation.

I got this vision in a dream and haven't been able to translate my own dream (which has been a first for me in quite awhile). I believe it has something to do with the fish (my yin and yang and how I ballance my life) and how they've grown too large for the puddle, and now there's a tiger that's drinking the last of their water and could very easily eat them. What does the tiger represent?
