But legalization of gay marriage does not infringe on a church's rights unless they are forced to marry a gay couple on their property, and I do not think that should be forced upon them.

Yeah... Barack Obama being elected is a huge win, though.
But Prop 8 passing? Please? That's so un-American. People who passed it do not understand the issue of gay marriage and that there is a SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE.
That pisses me off so much. Prop 8 better die really fast.

It wasn't unjustified in this case however. <3

I think you're quite the awesome person. I adored your posts against Sugarpoultry too. :3

Dear lord. McCain is a HUGE mess. I can not believe he is claiming he is Country First. That is like the biggest load of BS I've heard.
He has changed his views just to cater to getting him elected, and he chose his vice president for the same reason.
The presidential candidate that truly puts country first is Obama. He just doesn't make a big deal about it... and people call Obama a snob. Please...

Very sad...
I also noticed this about history... I don't know much about the histories of liberals and conservatives, but it's weird when you look at Republicans and Democrats in history, and also a factor that makes the South so Republican these days.
Republicans back in Lincoln's time didn't seem so bad, but it seems like the changed a lot sometime in between Lincoln and Lyndon B. Johnson's time.
Democrats used to be the ones who wanted to keep slavery... but all of the sudden when Johnson came around and started defending civil rights, guess what happened to the South? They became Republican.
Now I haven't read billions of books on this and I'm mainly getting this from my last history class, but I found it very interesting.
I wish neither side were trying to deny civil rights, because if that were the case I really wouldn't mind a Republican candidate, but until they get their act together and stop living like it's the 1950's, I will not be voting for them. I mean not until they AT LEAST start supporting civil unions for LGBT couples. Even so denying the title of marriage is a violation of the separation of church and state and unconstitutional.
I remember reading a long article about conservatives being the ones that are supposed to defend the constitution... It seems like times have changed, or perhaps they only support the parts of the constitution that matter to them, like the second amendment and the right to bear arms.
I guess that's what NEOconservatives are all about. Whatever the heck they are, they really really bother me, and they need to get their minds out of the past and start looking towards a future where we don't look down upon others for things like alternative lifestyles.

Hehe... No problem.

Yeah, well she's... a mess... to put it kindly. =P
But I know she's wrong so I don't care. I just hope there are some more people with some sense out there.
I don't live in California either... but aren't we going to be able to vote for this no matters what state we live in?
I can not believe one of the few places there have been progression the annoying conservatives (I'm not referring to all conservatives, just those that mess with civil rights issues.) are out there trying to stop it yet again.
It's really sad. Can we not have any progression?
I hope American votes for the good this time. =/

Don't feel stupid.
I worded it weirdly, that was the problem.
I should read over my posts more often; I often make mistakes like that. >_<
