Yeah, I think top graphics kinda is the latest thing over here. GTA IV received a lot of praise even before it came out for its stunningly good graphics. People all over the country joined in on a common song to fully appreciate the game - even though none had played or would probably ever play the game. Just because of the graphics. Of course, you had those who said: "Won't say anything until I've tried it"

I kinda felt that way about Link in the end of TP, for example. Just there to be there, they might as well have handed Midna the Master Sword and let her fight Ganondorf instead. But yeah, I kinda felt confused when Waluigi was introduced in Mario Tennis (still play the game to this date though, fun stuff), but I met Wario at a rather early age, so I don't have any other opinion than "He's okay"

Yeah, that's what I believe was the cause of its great popularity, along with using well known Nintendo characters. Revolutionary things seem to catch on with us

Well, I don't, so I'll be doing alright > But in all seriousness, I don't see why Nintendo wouldn't fix that. In our day and age, who doesn't have widescreen? Or is gonna have?

I would love for you to critique some of my work! I've actually planned to just write for the sheer joy of it for a while before doing anything of substance. This will sort of be like taking the stabilizers from a bike for the first time; I need to ride it alone before I go mountain biking xD.

Heheheh, well, that's because we Norwegians are so dominated by graphics. If the graphics are not top quality then we don't give two ****s about whatever fantastic and innovative gameplay it has. Oh, and blood and gore. If a game has all of that, and shooting, it's a gift from God. That's why I think people were fighting for their PS3s over here, too. Not where I live though, it's a quite small place. I'm one of two sixteen-seventeen year olds who live here.

I never got the Gamecube to play that game, it wasn't before almost all the games were either sold out or removed that I managed to scrape together enough money to buy one. I doubt that it would be my first choice for a game, though. I never liked Luigi much, I kinda felt that he was just an add-on to Mario. But I guess that he did need his own game

I remember that I really enjoyed the first MK because of just that; the items. It was a new thing to race against others and use stuff like that to get the first place, and MK64 was one of my favorites. I kinda found MKDS to be somewhat less, maybe because I have never actually tried the Wi-Fi yet (though I'd probably just get a slap across my face when I do).

Haha, I have only tried the two first Mario Parties, and I remember that I enjoyed them a lot (when we were four people playing, that is). It was great fun with all the mini games. I'll definitely look into it when I can.
