Nope. People tend to come up with their own races too, so go wild. The only thing to keep in mind is that you follow the rules for a certain race. As in, if you make a Tolkien-based dwarf, he will stem from the mountains and he won't be very fond of elves and so on. :3

Oh, and the thread is for approved characters only. You make a new thread for your character so that council members can see it and review it.
