Yeah, SMK, to me, really hasn't aged well. I don't feel like I'm controlling the kart when I play, I feel like I'm just moving the map. It's awkward. It's too bad because the music makes me want to love it! The Rainbow Road music is perfect.

I'm actually wondering if I should just drop the whole "episode" deal with Episode 3.

Anyway, I think the spear-dogs in the carts won't be much of a problem seeing how they stop appearing pretty soon so you can focus on platforming.
