Exactly! I'm glad at your age, you realize that. To me, you ARE mature for your age, because you are actually considering the consequences before the action. Not that action, then the consequences.

14 is the pinnacle age of immaturity. Well, at least it was for me. Teenagers are all immature in one way or another. And they might say the stuff they do now, but like Aeffles said, it's not socially acceptable, and they'll someday mature (sooner or later we always do...) and regret it.

Thank you! I think Sapphira, Aeffles and I were all try to convey to them how they couldn't possibly understand at that age how traumatizing those kinds of decisions can be. Sure, at 14, I thought I knew everything. Then again, the only thing I was interested in was friends, sports, and make-up!

Very smart, you couldn't have put things better. Some people just need to get into others' shoes for a minute and think what it would be like if that happened to them.
