Anyway, yes it was random yet so are a lot of other posts on ZU. Locking it doesn't really do any good. Did you message Tomcat afterwards to tell him that his thread was locked and would need replacing or are you going to wait for him to see that tomorrow morning, after he eagerly awaits responses from people who want to play UT? A nudge would be to message him, not locking it and taking away any way of discussing what it was about in the first place. Yes, a new thread could be made, but if it was not locked then this conversation would not be happening, and all would be dandy. I would have cleared up what the thread was about, etc.

Okay, yes, I agree with that no one is stopping him from making a second thread, but is it really necessary?

Well, English is not his first language, and well, I don't see how he deliberately made the opening post something that is not coherent. I fully understood the message, and I'm sure I would have if I did not even know the context of it. All in all really, your lock message doesn't make much sense anyway in reference to the thread. Frankly, I don't see why he should have to PM you just to have his thread opened up seeing as it was your mistake. Do you go and lock a thread by a new person simply because its in the wrong section? No. You move it, right? See, a nudge in the right direction would have been more beneficial instead of a straight lock down with no room for discussion. And well, I was actually going to post in the thread myself to clear up what tomcat meant, but lo and behold, it was locked.

Anyway, whatever.

Well, it looked like it to me, particularly how you referenced myself and Captain in that paragraph.
