Dealextreme is a legit dealer and have lots of great flash carts/rom friendly devices, I say go for it and enjoy your emulation

I might consider getting an AceKard instead, seeing as the R4 team isn't working on it anymore, leading to bunch of fakes popping up. The AceKard also supports SDHC and is also compatible with EZ-Flash.

the EZ flash looks legit, not to sure about the r4, it says that it's made from a different manufacturer than the original one. It also supports SDHC which the original does not. This may just be because they made a newer version and a new company is now making them. I'm not sure. It's worth a shot, they arn't really that expensive anyway.

Well...I bought mine from a place called NXP games. It's hard to find "real" r4's now. Back when I got mine it was brand new, but now there are alot of bootlegs out there that don't work as well. It can only play gba games with the use of the EZ flash which goes in the GBA slot. IT can however by itself play ds Roms, and emulate nes, atari, snes, and genesis systems.

after a quick look, it apears that nxp does not carry the r4ds anymore. I'm not sure where else you can get a legit one. GOOD LUCK THOUGH!

Where is a good place to buy an R4?

Also, I heard R4's can't play GBA games. Is there any way around this? I heard of EZ-Flash which goes into the GBA slot.
