God no...well kind of. You have a lvling system outside of games, but the things you unlock by lvling up are helpful but ultimately unnecessary. You get a talent tree kind of thing that gives you very slight bonuses and a rune page sort of like the glyphs in WoW that isn't even useful at all until lvl 20 so don't bother with it too much. The runes cost too much for the short time they'll last til they get replaced. At lvl 20 you get access to the higher tier runes. Each game can take 20-35 minutes regularly but every now and then things can come to a real war of attrition and can go on for an hour or more, but most of the time one team will surrender before that happens. You start out at lvl 1 each game and work your way up to lvl 18.

Well we need to all get together on a messenger or something (aim or msn) and figure out what characters you guys are going to be using and whether or not we want this to be a battle or an RP. Also, if its a battle it still has to have some sort of plot line because people don't just fight for no reason.
