Wow, you're in high school? Looking at your pic, I could've sworn you were in college! xD You look (and write) quite maturely for your age. :3

Yeah, AP courses are the real deal--I should know because I deliberately didn't taken them when I was in high school. However, those books are among the most intriguing pieces of literature ever written (at least the last two)--once you get started in those, you shouldn't be able to put it down!

Yeah, the Wii. Very bold and innovative at first blush, but in the end, it is a bit gimmicky. (Contrary to most "core gamers," though, I do like how it's bridging the gap and bringing different types and generations of game players together.) However, once that new Zelda Wii game gets rolling, I'm hoping that we'll forget all about such troubles and that we'll be awed again.

Number Girl, you don't like TP? I hate you! Haha, J/K.

I love TP and probably still consider it my second favorite Zelda game (after OoT), but I don't like it quite as much as I did at first. Heck, I've been meaning to replay it for some time now, but I keep putting it off. What does that tell you?

The game had so much potential, which you can see in the game, and it's just so disappointing that they got rushed with it. Even those who hate it still say the first half of the game was golden. The developers knew what they were doing with the game--they just got rushed and ran out of time, then all those delays hit just for Wii compatability. Aye, what could have been.

What sorts of summer assignments? As for me, I'm okay. Not that great, but not terrible either. I'm pretty excited about next weekend--I get to go visit a couple friends of mine from college in our college town, where I haven't been in several years now!

Hey there! It's been a long time since I've seen/heard from you. What's new?

(And don't tell me you're one of those TP haters? )

This will tell you everything you need to know!

Summary version: You've probably noticed either "Din Clan," "Nayru Clan," or (everyone's favorite) "Farore Clan" over many people's avatars. To get into a clan, simply PM one of the four mods in charge (I recommend Aeffles--he's the most reliable) for a clan test. The test is basically a personality test to see which clan you'd fit in best at. Fill it out and send it back to the same mod, and then they'll put you in a clan.

The only stipulations are that you have to have at least 50 posts and been here over a month, both of which you have. It sometimes takes a while, though, since these mods tend to get bombarded with clan requests pretty frequently.

    So did that help?

Friendly tip: Click on "View Conversation" and you can reply in the space there, so I see your response on my profile (or you can just post it on my profile more directly). Just makes conversation a bit easier since that way I'd be notified whenever you've responded.

BTW, you didn't in any way think I was knocking down your idea, did you? 'Cause I did feel a bit bad that I got your thread locked (even if indirectly), and I know I'm (sort of) a ZU vet.

Also, I see you've been on ZU for over a month and have more than 50 posts. Have you thought about applying for Clan membership? I could see you as a future Farore Clan member.

Oh, no worries, I knew what you'd been getting at. Elitism can come easily to those who've grown accustomed to a place and are used to things running a certain way. It's a temptation we all have anyplace where we've been for a while, and I'm sure you in time will also feel it. Me, I just tried to reach a happy medium, and I guess it helped that I sympathized with both sides.

But yeah, I make it a point not to mock anyone's ideas (well, save the exceptionally absurd ideas that you see crop up from time to time, hehe, but that's a different subject. ) But most newcomers are, like yourself, honest and erstwhile contributors to the community who are quite eager to learn the ropes.

no it's fine really. I just hope you get what i mean about people knocking down thread ideas. not to discriminate against long-time ZU people but they tend to be the ones to do mean stuff like that. the numbers are actually my student ID in school. I was trained to remember them since kindergarten haha, so now i use it for usernames and passwords
