My first order of business in trying to prevent the heinous felony which would soon follow was to hide the hampster by the fountain in the garden, and although I have not seen the hampster since, we can all be sure that the one known as Marky has not gotten his hands on it.

Immediatly afterward, I headed for the kitchen, where I know the cookie jars to sit. Upon reaching the kitchen door I overheard Marky talking to someone, saying that he would share the cookies with all of Farore's denizens; I knew that a blackmailer such as this could not be trusted to keep his word on this, and so I snuck in the door and left it ajar so that I may make a hasty retreat should the need arise. Which it did. At the same time I saw the thief gobbling down the cookies, he saw me at the edge of the room watching him, waiting for the opportune time to catch and apprehend him. Unfortunately, during my escape, he caught me and silenced me on the matter. Until now, where I can finally tell you all about how Marky stole the cookies from the cookie jar.
