It's not that it doesn't work, it's merely different. iTunes doesn't seem to want to load folder.jpg or Front.jpg, for example. :/

    And glad I could help.

move separate albums in separate folders. Easiest way would be selecting all your music (or only those albums which you wanted), right clicking, selecting "file operations > move to". Here, you select your destination folder. In "file name pattern", you type in anything of your choice. What you most likely would want is:
    %album%\%filename%
(which makes so individual albums are sorted in individual folders)
    or
    %artist%\%album%\%filename%
(which makes it so albums are first sorted in their artist folder, then their respective albums).

The advantages? A very structured library. Multiple application compatibility. The ability to browse through all your album art easily and replacing it just as easily.

    Disadvantages? Might be slightly tedious.

Oh, I usually only have one file as album art, which is what I thought you wanted too- sorry!

How many images do you have?
For front and back it's simple, basically

    Front.jpg
    Back.jpg

Add the image file in the same folder and name it Folder.jpg or Cover.jpg (I'd recommend folder.jpg as it's an universal standard that works with many, many programs)

There's programs like Album Art Downloader too. ;3

It takes 18K while minimized to notification area. And when that option is checked, every time I open it up, it starts minimized to notification area, requiring additional clicks to open, driving up the time it takes to start to that greater than iTunes.
    :/ something's weird here.

Seriously? Think I'm going back now. :/ I thought it would use 10% as much RAM as iTunes used, boot up faster, and provide some functionality that iTunes did. I just dunno, after hours more of configuration it still takes up only some 10k less and boots up just as fast, and provides less functionality than iTunes did for me. I just don't see the reason anymore.
It's weird - it always starts instantly for me (even from a slow external drive!), and minimized, RAM usage is under 6 megabytes, sometimes jumping up to 7 or 8. This is with equalizers, a skin, and crossfade enabled. I have no idea why it would be so slow for you.

Weird. Foobar still takes in excess of 16K while minimized. And it takes about three and a half seconds to open up
Something must be up then. On my old computer, foobar started half a second after I clicked the icon, same with my friend's slow laptop (I posted the processor before).

Also Default user interface > check "minimize to notification area", this should lower RAM usage plenty when minimized afaik
