Ah, Well thanks. I am a bit younger then most theorists (I think), and wasn't able to comprehend it until recently, so I don't really know ZU's history. I am a fan of TSA though I have always found him entertaining.

Nah, this was way before the Bombers.

They were just a large group of theorists that said the timeline was just one, long series of games all together, and there was no split.
They had their own banners, signatures, etc, and were just a large gang of e-ballers and bullies.
The Bombers beleive in all sorts of theories.
Some of them are just as conceited as the Wise men were, but that's because of their actual personalities, not supremacy in theorising.

Was that like The Bombers or something?

They beleived there was only one, linear timeline, and that the idea it was split was the most absurd thing possible.
They treated themselves like they were that much better than any other theorist and bullied and berated any other theorist, especially those that believed the timeline as split.

And then when Nintendo confirmed the timeline WAS split, they were laughed off of the forums.

While they are now gone, the same self-importance and obscenity exists in many theorists on the boards today.

That pretty much sums up why you are a good theorist, and they are bad theorists.

Again, look at the United Wise Men and how they turned out, they had their asses handed to them and were laughed off the forums.

Aye, I don't consider myself a theorist as I can't come up with a good theory to save my hide. I do try to prove/disprove others theories. I hate it when people won't give my ideas a chance though, just because they think they are right. If someone post something once and it is a large point, the person with that theory often conveniently ignores that post or explains it without really explaining it.

Aye, there has always been rivalry.
Of course, I have had many rivals when I was a large debater, but we all had the politeness and common deceny to listen to others before (respectably) replying.

All this "I'm right" - "No I'M right" rubbish and arguing is a let down to see.

All these theories are prtty creative and if only people were decent enough to listen to eachother.

    *sigh*

Well, In case you haven't noticed there is a lot of tension between a couple of theorists and they often are at each others throats like they have theorist rivalry (i.e. Watties and Sparty)... wait what am I talking about you and Hombre are the ones who deletes those posts...

To be honest, at least in my eyes, the best kind of theorist is one that though may have their own personally theory they adhere to, are still able to see the merits in others and applaud that.

Whatever happened to friendly discussion, eh?
