As far as the states go, I've been a few places in Texas and then here in South Dakota.

I have some say, like you can put in for certain bases, and when there's an opening for someone of your proficiency opens up, you could go there.

But yeah, if they tell you to go somewhere, you're going. Most of the time though, they take into consideration if you're married and such. Married personnel still get deployed though.

Pretty much until I get orders somewhere else. But there are deployments and such in between.

Like, some people have been here 10+ years, and others get here and are gone within the year. It's all about where they need people of certain rank and proficiency.

I suppose so. I honestly stay on base most of the time. Go out to a movie once in a while though. Some people go out and party on their days off.
