Yeah, if they made it I reckon it'd be a smash hit. It would take a lot of development time... but who knows? It may happen some day, they have to do something different eventually. Wii online would be great with this kind of game.

A Pokemon fighting game actually sounds feasible, it could on WiiWare but with good graphics like cel-shaded with all 649 Pokemon and you could use the DS, classic controller, wiimote or gc controller to play. It would be awesome and more likely than a Pokemon MMO, which would only be good on PC and Nintendo doesn't develop games for PC.
