There is, though, something which the timeout does effect: When the 15 minutes are up, it considers all posts on the site as "read"... But that's not we were talking about, so... yeah. :|

I have no idea what you're talking about. But whatever. If the "remember me" box is checked, ZU is logged on the next time it's brought up. It never times me out, I never have to log in. I don't care what the technical definition of "logged in" is.

But it does log them off. The thing which makes you logged in when you visit the site is your cookies, not the site itself.
