Sounds like you've got this down.

Yeah, letters would be harder to intersect. They'd basically be one guy running or ridding as fast as possible, maybe even using a bird in some cases. Items would require larger means of transports like caravans so they'd be easier to raid.

As for prisoners, the way I intended it would be that myself and whoever the prisoners originally belonged to would talk it over and decide what happens, with a little bit of input from the one who captured them We can't just say they kill themselves. They could be chained up and force fed. As for the logic thing, dumb units like Stalchilds would be easy to get knowledge from, but wouldn't give anything big. Like if I captured a Stalchild from you, he'd probably just be able to tell me "Flowers everywhere!". More intelligent units like Hylians and Wizzrobes would be able to be more specific and say, "They can use them to get air and glide."

That seems to be a good idea with Clock Town. The main reason I wanted it was to be a good meeting area of armies, in case something big needed to be discussed (see: meetings of leaders in the world wars).

I foresee Matt and I spawning a rather large alliance -perhaps an alliance of alliances- following which I have big plans, although I'm going to try and stay fairly solo this time through. Help will be there out of need, not out of just being able to use it. Ozzie will be interesting to work with. I predict some interesting events in his future.

Do as you please with the dungeons. Also, I have a few plans that could be quite beneficial to us both.

By the way, how do you feel about trades being opened to attack (like V5),
-Trade convoys on items definitely, letters only if you have to go through someone's territory directly.

    prisoners allowed,
How people handle this will be their choice, but I think having them around is a good thing.
-Have your men kill themselves rather than talk
-Have them make up stuff -note that they must be able to defend against logic
-Have them do what it takes to stay alive so they can be used should they be freed -and as such they remain in the army total
    Etc

and Clock Town still being around?
I feel like clocktown should be there when it's convenient. Have it disappear when someone goes to war in the field, otherwise it's there.

Overall, you're doing a pretty good job I'd say.

Yeah. The swamp could be pretty fun, and Ozzie seems to be doing good for his first time. I'm looking forward to how your alliance with Matt will work out.

The well would work, but I was thinking the castle would be better for when sneak attacks start coming into play.

By the way, how do you feel about trades being opened to attack (like V5), prisoners allowed, and Clock Town still being around? I wanted to make things more flexible and realistic while still being fair. Plus, I'm going to be paying big attention to technology. I don't want this to be a "who can get the biggest, baddest siege engine" war.

It's cool, I think that this will give me a chance to really work with my resources rather than use the already super strong game stuff. I look forward to it. Also I have a kickass theme song.

I think Ikana doesn't have a dungeon persay, but the well could make a very effective one.

I was so close to deciding on taking the Pirate Fortress instead and trying to leave you the castle. You still took a base of royalty, anywho.

Now I just need to play MM and walk around Ikana a bit. I can't remember if there was a prison-like area, like the fortress or palace has.

Modding and watching is fine by me, but other than that, I'm out on the landwars. If you can get it going, more power to ya, but methinks this general is retired. I can help out in small ways, but having an army, with things being as they are, just probably can't happen for me. If you need anything, let me know and I'll try to help.

So I've been so lazy as to not even log onto WLM. But anyway, I've been thinking of having a landwars on ZU in the near future. The ideal time for me would be the end of this quarter which happens to be next week. Thursday and Friday we have off, so I'll be able to think freely during that time and maybe get it going in November. I'll archive the forums this weekend and there might be a rough draft of V6's rules and guides as well.

I'm thinking for the sake of ease that we should have it be a 3D game that isn't OoT. WW seemed too bleh so either MM or TP. I kinda lead towards TP even though I've not played it, just so we can get something fresh in.

But yeah, that's my plan. The current regulars aren't exactly the most active and updatey as you know, and we really need some fresh meat after the unadvertised secluded V5. I'd love to have you participate as much as I'd love having you mod or just sit back and watch the show.

Probably. By then the chaos from the first few weeks of school should be over, and we may have new faces around who join during the summer.

HLW feels like an RTS taken to a whole new level. I don't want it to die out here.
