Sounds excellent. I think I'll make the post sometime today and give it a little longer than usual to start since people have to think a little more about it.

I think it gets too irrelevant. Everyone starts with a capital and it's assumed they have an outpost here and there. Which really isn't a concern to us, more like a logical thing for the game. Anything else can be built.

So each kingdom will have one base, then?

Also, I don't know about bases. It makes most sense to me for each kingdom to have one main base, and maybe some other small fortresses.

That's not to say we can't start up V8. I hadn't given bases much of a thought. The only thing I've thought about is I want people to pick themes this time around and recruit based off the themes. My hope also is that themes would make everyone a little more unique. For example as the "Isengard" it boils down to an "Industry" theme. I plan to rely more on projects and constructions than brute force or magic.

In fact I think it'd be cool if we pick a basic theme like Industry, Magic, Force/troops, etc., and then specify from there. So if you're still going with the hell theme you'd be Hell/magic. I'd be Isengard/industry. Lysis in the last thing would've been under force. Sailboat would've been a bit of each. KD would've been industry as well as myself. Des force, etc.

I'm definitely ready. We're just sort of waiting on lefty at this point to finish it up.

Hmm. I think I like it. So lets say it ends up being 10:10. The higher it is, the better the first army does, and the lower, the better the second army does? And if it rolled a 10 it would be about an even outcome? For awhile I've been thinking that it'd be cool if we could calculate that one odd thing happening, and I think this could pull it off.
