I'd approach her and ask her about it. The best way is to just be upfront and find out what's going on. That's the best because it could help avoid a lot of heart ache. That's why I'm always honest with people about things, especially people I fancy.

The hyperlink is broken, and as for Shyamalan I guess a lot of people think that an action/adventure type of movie like The Last Airbender is just really out of his usual element. Shyamalan is usually good for suspence/thrillers so I'm sure that's why a lot of people are going to be taken back at this.

But hey, I'm more than willing to give him a shot. I mean, take a look at Sam Raimi, before Spider-man he did a lot of Horror films (and Hercules and Xena episodes).
