I was using sony vegas pro 10 as well and loved it.

as i said earlier, i used that until recently. over black friday weekend i purchased Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 for 30 bucks on sale. i think its 80 or 90.

i did pay full retail for version 10 because i was desperate for movie editing software and just put it on my credit card lol

i hate windows movie maker, so the cost to upgrade to something decent wasn't something i contemplated for long. credit cards are also goign to be the death of me someday. i don't abuse them, but one day there's goign to be something i want so bad i just don't care and i'll charge it and kick myself later. (read: the wii U will likely be a credit card purchase)

okay so i'm getting sick of low quality captures from my console.

i'm debating between a couple cards

biggest issue being the black Magic one doesn't come with the adapter cable.

So one of my influences, HCBailly, revealed himself on New Year's Day with his first vlog video. I'm considering doing one of those videos once I get enough subscribers.

What do you all think...do you usually like putting a face to one's voice, or do you like the mysteries of ones anonymity?

i like seeing a face. i did a vlog entry a while ago, mostly because i was out of game footage and didn't feel like playing video games that day lol.

Well I don't mind if people are anonymous, actually kind of think its a good idea so then you get nobody subscribing (or not subscribing) based on looks. But since my face is already on my YouTube no point taking it off now lol.. Thought of just doing an action picture of me from High School football, because it fits the name iJuke24, but eh idk.

I've already shared pics of myself a couple times and placed them in some LP vids as a reward for those who actually watched them through. That was a while back though.

No, I'm more concerned about the mess in the background.

I'm not really bothered by it one way or the other. It can be nice to see the face behind the voice sometimes, but other times it can be annoying if you've watched some one for ages, and their face is completely different to what you imagined XD. I can understand why people wouldn't do it as well, for the sake of anonymity. I personally don't because I'm not comfortable with my physical appearance.

i made sure to put my desk in a corner so i'd never have clutter in the background.

On the subject of showing yourself, here is the very first video of me, thanks to the 3DS' crappy video camera!

So, my friends have expressed interest in doing a 4 player LP of Rayman Origins for the Wii.

...This should be an interesting endeavor. I also have some footage of DKC2 to render and upload. And ~13 more episodes of FF7 to finish rendering, as well as the first couple episodes of FFX.

I'm glad I have a laptop to dick around on while my desktop is doing the workhorse thing rendering video.

I wish I had friends I could do collabs with.

Well, there is that Four Swords LP.

uploaded my latest episode of Wind Waker today.

I've done some tweaking with the rendering quality and need some input. Let me know what you guys think. I feel its much better than it was before, i'm not seeing as much blur and the text seems to be clearer. But i'm not sure if its just me THINKing its better because i know i made changes or not.

On a side note, I got 5 episodes of Light of the Heavens recorded today! I'm still aways from catching up in that LP, however... >_>

So I found out my mom and her boyfriend want to move the wireless Internet router downstairs for the new computer they are going to get. I don't know how this is going to affect my uploading and watching LP's (and Internet surfing in general), so I'm pretty stressed out about it.

Watching videos won't be effected much, however, if you're going to upload a long video, use the wired connection, because it takes forever to upload a long video on a wireless connection (for me at least).

So I'm going through all of my LP videos and putting the words "Let's Play" in front of them so (hopefully) Youtube's search engine finds it. I don't know if that makes a difference or not on whether the search engine will catch it. Also, I'm also adding titles to first 14 or so episodes of my first LP.

that apostrophe can make a difference.

I thought the tags were more important than the title for stuff like that, Jester?

@Blizz It shouldn't make a huge difference either way. You might want to hardwire a connection for uploading though, as wireless isn't as reliable. I use my wireless on my laptop and various other WiFi devices (phone/DS/3DS/PSP/Wii/PS3/360 before it RRoD'd... you get the idea) and it works just fine for downloading/streaming stuff. It's only the upload that will take a hit, if at all.

I'm sure you'll be fine.
