Abortion.

Is it wrong? Is it right? Do you think that it's okay to take another innocent human beings life? One that has not taken it's first breath. This is your place to talk amongst yourselves.

No not really. I think that it's just wrong in any case.I was talking about it today in Speech and I realized a lot of people believe in it. I was just wondering what your opinion on this subject is.

I think it is wrong you cant just take unborn life away.

The baby is still alive in the womb, all the way from conception its alive. I'm in a pregnancy class right now, so I have facts to prove this. It's murder, that is what adoption is. And they will be held accountable for it...

This coming from a girl who was adopted because my mother chose to save my life and give me a family. I admire her for that and I thank her for giving me life, instead of being selfish and taking it away from me. She gave me a chance.

I agree with sugarpoultry.
I consider it to be a human at conception. Just because the child isn't fully developed doesn't mean that the child is not a human and can just be disposed of for convenience sake.

For one reason god is the only person/thing that is aloud to take peoples and animals lifes and It just isnt fair. secondly Everyone should be aloud to be born and see the wonders of the world. And also have the first breath of their life and have the chance to grow up and be loved by their parents.

I know. Every year at our school our Phsycology class holds a day were everyone in the class can't talk. It shows what would happen if we let abortion continue.I think it proves a very valuable point, it shows how many people we lose to abortion everyday.

It makes me so sick. My husband and I are trying to have kids right now. The thought of these people who abort these perfectly healthy babies, when we could have taken care of them, loved them, given them a family... ugh.. it makes me sick.

What makes a human?

What thing, or things, make something deserving of human rights, and why do they do so?

I agree. The courts in Oklahoma are trying to pass a law that if you get an abortion you are charged and sentenced with murder. I think it's a good idea.

I believe that abortion is right. I can't see why feti should have the same rights as born human beings. If I was to think abortion was wrong, I wouldn't eat eggs (yes, I know, but we have our own hens and a rooster, and we can't be 100% sure that the egg is unfertilised).
However, I believe that during the later stages in the pre-birth development, it would be wrong to kill it, since it's pretty much an infant then, but is abortion possible when it has developed that much?
I don't get why some people believe it's wrong to kill undeveloped feti, but not animals outside their mothers. I'm not sure where to draw the line, but certainly, I'd compare undeveloped feti to plants or oysters, due to their passive nature.

Why bring a child to life if it is not wanted?

It's hard to think that someone would even think of killing such a precious gift. It's just not right.

A question: If a child was born with nothing but a brainstem (So, they're body would work, but they would never be capable of thinking anything), would you consider them deserving of all human rights?

I believe abortion is wrong, and I eat eggs, but that's because I don't think eating chickens is wrong. There's a difference between killing an unborn animal and killing an unborn human.

From a legal standpoint, murder of a human is wrong, so why should abortion be legal? The child may not be fully developed, but it's still a human. The fact that the child is "unwanted" is a very poor reason to kill it.

Yes I would. It's a mental disability like any other. Killing a child with an underdeveloped nervous system is no different in my mind than killing a severely mentally disabled child.
