Is LA DX version worth getting?

I finally managed to get a hand on an original LA cart ((One of the old names on the selection screen was "Barf". God bless children from the early 90s.)) I've only managed to play it using an emulator, and I find it great that I can play it on an actual physical GBA instead of using a keyboard on a computer screen.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, and I'm having a lot more fun playing it on a GBA, but I was wondering if I should go through the trouble of finding the DX version as well.

It WOULD be nice to play it with actual colors instead of the VisualBoy-like red everywhere ((I don't have a GB. Only a GBC and a GBA)). Plus, there is that one color dungeon that I never bothered to try when I was playing it on an emulator.

In other words, I can't make decisions on my own, and I want ZU to hold my hand and make them for me.

Hmm. Well, I never played the color dungeon, but yeah, having color is nice, so get it.

Re: Is LA DX version worth getting?

I have a DX lying around, would you like to buy it somehow? I'm new at shipping and such though..

On the other hand..The colour dungeon wasn't great, just optional, for an upgrade.
Get it if you want. I remember buying it a couple of years ago.

Re: Is LA DX version worth getting?

The DX stuff was nice but not worth a second purchase.

Also, you can change the color scheme (for non-color games) when the GBA starts up if you don't like the redness by holding a button and direction when it flashes the Gameboy logo. B and left make it straight black and white as I recall.
EDIT: Nintendo confirms with handy chart.

Re: Is LA DX version worth getting?

If you want the photos and trust me they are nice then get it. Other that that there is no great difference. The colour dungeon is rather meaningless because you can easily get through the game with the original tunic and colours are not that important, nut the photos make it worth getting. I have the Japanese version of DX and I so want the original one in English.
