OoX Rings

I was really let down with the transformation rings in OoX.
You can't spit rocks as an octorok, you can't use spears as a
moblin, you can't use your sword as NES Link... there would've
been some awesome possibilities here

Re: OoX Rings

I don't even remember the NES Link one, but I was sorely disappointed with those particular rings. I was also disappointed that there wasn't really any difference between the 2 punching rings (I think I remember 2, at least).

Re: OoX Rings

Did the GBA rings do anything?
Or the rings that commemorate defeating Ganon, breaking signs, or collecting rings?

Re: OoX Rings

I was also disappointed when there was no point in being an octorok. Then I though... A spitting octorok might give one ranged attack before one was supposed to have such weapon. Meaning that certain puzzles would be solvable too early.

Re: OoX Rings

Since posting here, I've redone the Magic Rings wiki page into a sortable table. You can click on the buttons in the headers to resort it from an alphabetical listing to ring box order, Ring type (trophy, transformation, etc), and Location Found by Game.
