Something odd in MC

After you get Elzo, go back to Link's house and go to the room where his uncle (I think that's who he is), and go near the lower left corner. Elzo says something very strange. He says there must be a secret there and wants link to tell him what it is. I tried doing everything in that corner with my items, but nothing happened. Does anybody know what the heck Elzo is talking about?

...You got me. I haven't played TMC in a long time. Maybe there's a Minish there?

interesting, I have no idea, I wish I still had the game so i could check this out.

Interesting, I just checked it and Elzo says word for word:
"I sense something unusual here...
Is it something hidden?
I won't tell anyone, so come on!
Show me!"

Nothing I have done has made him respond again at all, and Im using an end game file, complete with Light Arrows and Mirror Shield.

Someone check this out, It's very..intriguing

Correct me if im wrong, but I believe he's refearing to something hidden in links garden... I believe that if you dig up a specific item in the garden outsit, he will stop saying those words.

I read somewhere that in fact there was a secret passage there, where could find some special stronger sword, but they get it out from the game, because Vaati would be too easy with that sword.

No, that's true, I've done the infinite money trick tons of times before. Dunno if that's what Elzo meant, probably not.

Probably just lines they forgot to take out of the game. :/

I did the infinite rupee trick and never saw ezlo say that. must be something else.....

It could be there just to drive us crazy, almost like the Triforce symbol in OoT pause screen.

Is he? I always thought he was Elzo. Maybe I have to pay better attention next time.

Im playing through the game again right now and his name indeed is Ezlo.

IIRC in the room with his uncle if you tap your sword on the wall it makes a sound that you can bomb it, but when you do nothing happens but if you tap your sword on it again it makes the normal sound. Maybe there was something there in the pre release version but was taken out and they forgot to take out Ezlo's text like the fire rod mention on the ice wizrobes figurine.

Yet another annoying mystery.

Probably something in beta they forget to take out. CURSE THEM!
