DS or DSi?

Exactly. Nintendo said that specific (not all) DS games will work on DS/DS Lite, but have DSi-only features. I think they said that, at least.

if u still wannt to play ur gba games y dont u just keep ur gba then u can play colour games as well. or u could just keep ur ds. i getting a dsi because my battery on my original ds is doesnt hold charge long enough and i dont play my gba games.
u cant play games like guitar hero on the dsi i think thats what they are refering to

I bet it will work on all versions of the DS. (I mean they can't have that many DSi's)

Ok about this whole DSi DSL thing... Are some of you just p/oed that you just bought a DSL like a year ago and Nintendo made a bigger better system? Who needs gameboy compatibility when you still have a gameboy?

Agreed. Besides, all it really is, is an extension of the Ds. I assume there'll be games that are exclusive to the Dsi, but I doubt it'll take over from the lite.

people who play pokemon who use the dongle method and the backward compatibility to get pokemon in diamon/pearl/platinum.

Good thing Pokemon HG and SS are coming out.

No, because I can do that with my phone. My DS Lite is just fine, thanks.

You get the Full version or ZU Mobile? because I find that not so great. It is nice just being able to hook up to the internet on my DSi and mess around. It is also a bonus to not have to pay for internet on my phone. I never upped to the DS to DSL, I went DS to DSi so this change was actually necissary imo unlike the DS to DSL.

I can‘t really say I care at all about new Pokemon games. It’s been years since they actually felt like brand new games.

i'll just buy the internet browser "game" for my DS lite

i just want the DSi for the camera =3

The Camera is very fun to play with! After like 3 months or so you find your self using it less and less... The Internet and Music player never lose their touch.

I never upped at all. The DS Lite was my first and only DS. Upping is a waist of money.

id still use it >=3

the music player bit id prolly never use as i have an mp3 player (in pink...im so macho) but if it could hold more songs THEN id use it more...do you have to convert the songs to a certain format or are they good as is?

They have to be AAC files or something like that. And from what I’ve heard, finding a converter is very hard. If you want a gaming device that is much easier to put music on, I would suggest you go for a PSP.
