Phantom Hourglass help

ok, so i'm trying to complete my collection screen but im having a bit of trouble with trading. i've gone to all of the travelers ships and done all the trades with them. Now i have the wood heart. After i got it i thought, it;s simple, i have to give it to one of the gorons. i've talked to all of the gorons many times and i just can't figure it out. i've searched a bunch of different walkthroughs and i can't find the answer. i'm hoping for a little help??

I think you have to give it to the old guy in the northwest sea. I could be wrong though.

No, you're right, but he now travels around the ocean in a small boat. You usually find him in the southeast or northeast sea. Then, after you gave him the Wood Heart, head back to Bannan Island, where he lives, to receive the final treasure.

thank you very much. i never would have guessed to give it to him. although it does explain why there was two ships in one area... thanks again ^^
