TMC Mysterious Shells

So, I've beat the game, and I still need a LOT more figurines,
what is the best way to get a lot of Mysterious Shells?

(I've done almost all the Kinstones...)

Find them in pots and bushes you can cut, find them in treasure chests, they're all over the place, man. I always end up with a crapload real quickly.

Buy some green Picolyte and use it in the very grassy fields in the west of the town in combination with the Great Spin Attack to collect as many shells as possible. Repeat. But don't forget to buy some yellow Picolyte every now and then, so you don't run out of rupees.

Play the cucco lady mini-game over and over again. That's how I made rupees, played it so much it became second nature to me to win it all the time.

Well, thank you. It's the fastest method I know.

Dig to the very left of the entrance to your house- there's always a red rupee there. You can use that to buy picolyte.

This isn't exactly what I do. But the area is the same. Clear all of the enemies first and be sure you have the Hurricane spin or whatever. But just keep buying the Picolyte for Rupees and buy your shells from Stockwell.

You may just as well finish the Kinstone Fusion quest first as many of the treasures are rupees and/or shells.

Also before pulling the lever, save your game. If you lose alot of shells and get nothing to keep, just flick the power off and try again.

The shell-finding picolyte costs 200 rupees and doesn't last long enough to get more than
30 shells, so at this point, I am just buying them from Stockwell, I know it's a ripoff...

Exactly, you can either get 30 shells from the shellfinding picolyte or 30 red rupees from the yellow picolyte and buy your shells from Stockwell.

I always look for the shortcuts :p

First: Anju. I mean cucco lady. If you get bored, or you can't do what she wants, then here is a second option.
There's a gambling game in the town. If you're lucky, you can quickly get 300 rupees if you win it. With that buy Shells in the shop. :3

I do use the gambling game, I am down to 17 figurines

I've got all 137 figurenes, and i get my shells by digging up the red rupees and buying them.

Don't use picolyte, u can't get very much

Another trick is to trying digging by your house. I believe when you exist and you dig on your left you get a huge ruppee worth 50 or so. Go back in the house and repeat this process since it reappears. Though as painful as it may be, eventually you'll have enough money to buy enough shells.

Did you the game, or do you play it on emulator?
Because if the second one, then I highly support the gambling game, because you can do save states.
