What handheld game deserves a fanmade remake?

If just ONE handheld Zelda was to be given a fanmade remake with edited GBA game sprites (Think Pokemon Shinygold and other games like it), which one would you want?

I'd have to go with Oracle of Seasons

oracle of ages hands down, I liked the time traveling more then changing the weather.

None, since fangames are never finished. I'd prefer an official remake :>

Link's Awakening, definitely.
While I prefer Oracle of Ages, Link's Awakening was more of a milestone. In fact, it was the Handheld Zelda. The very original.

Fangames are meant to be made, not played.

No fanmade game has ever gone far, so I would not want any of the games to suffer a potential embarrassment.

I'm not talking about the kinds of fanmade games that are started and never finished. I'm talking about the ones that ARE.

Tomato-san is doing some crazy **** with the original MOTHER game, that's one point for fan-made remakes.

Then again, comparing the average modder to Tomato is kawaaaazy

Both the Oracles, because technically they are one story. =3 If just one, OoA because it was just so much fun and more challenging then OoS. Even if I did like Din best.

I didn't like Oracle of Ages, the Bosses were just weird.

Where's TMC on that poll?

To be honest though, I wouldn't want any of them remade unless it was an official remake by Nintendo. And if this were the case, TMC all the way. It would be awesome on the DS.

OoA/OoS if done together would be the obvious winners, but if it's only one, it's Link's Awakening by a long shot.

Ranil, TMC is already in a higher bit sprite set than the rest. If this thread is going where I think it's going to put one of those into that style.

Link's Awakening would be cool to see. But I also enjoyed the Oracle games quite a bit.

Fanmade? None, fanmade games suck hard nine out of ten times.

Once again, think about Pokemon Shinygold. It just replaces the old sprites with newer GBA sprites.

Link's Awakening. With the GBA's graphics and such, it could be remade to look a lot better (tMC/FS style maybe?) and the dungeons could have a lot more advanced designs.

And other than that I would say OoX. But I like them the way they are, but if they were to be redone, I would say the same that I said for LA.
