Question OoS: Four golden beasts?

In summer, directly below the entrance to Gnarled Root Dungeon, there is a hole. Inside is an old man in an orange robe who says "Slay the four golden beasts that roam this land" and tells you how many you have slain (for me, 0).
Has anyone found these golden beasts, or slain them?

Re: OoS: Four golden beasts?

Yeah, here's there locations (from what I can remember).

Tarm Ruins (Winter) -- on the official map, location (5, D)
Woods of Winter (Fall) -- (9, N)
Spool Swamp (Summer) -- (13, A)
Western Coast (Spring) -- (14, F)

Hope that helps you.

They are standerd enimies only much more powerful, once you have defeated them all talk to the guy and he'll give you a ring, although I can't for the life of me remember which ring.

Re: OoS: Four golden beasts?

Red Ring - Sword Power goes up ^^. No draw backs, excellent for fighting bosses.

One's a Octorock, one's a Moblin, one's a Darknut and one's a Lyonel. As you can tell, they get progressivly harder.

Talking !!!

Thanks guys, now I have the ring. Unfortunately, I have already finished OoS, linked to OoA and finished that, then started a "victory ring" game on OoA, then linked that back to Oos! But now I can hunt down the 4 goldies in my linked-victory (it's all so complicated!" game, and use it to beat Onox, which I am finding strangely harder than last time (i must be getting old:rolleyes:0.

Re: OoS: Four golden beasts?

It's taken me ages to figure out what the four golden beasts were and where to find them. Thankyou!

Re: OoS: Four golden beasts?

I hate the oracles now... They take too long to complete them fully... and it takes all 3 save files... I didn't even know about the golden beasts until I found the guy... He just gave me a ring.......... I used the biggoron sword..... just sucks it takes up two spaces to use, but it is incredibly powerful.

Re: OoS: Four golden beasts?

I found it difficult to find those beasts, but I searched the entire map on all four seasons. It took a few hours I believe.

Anyway, the question has been answered.
