How did link's uncle get harmed. I think it it was The Evil Wizard(i dont remember his name)

You must be talking about Agahnim. It's funny that you don't remember his name because he's in your avatar. But anyway, Link's uncle probably just got wounded from one of the enemies around the castle, it doesn't really matter. For all we know, he could have tripped and fell. The point is that Link finds him and takes up his sword and shield.
