Question about 4S and 4S+

I've watched some vieos of 4S+ and can see that it is possible for 1 player to play as all 4 characters when needed.

My question however is can this also be done on 4S or do you REALLY need a second player?

You really need a second player... every time i try to start a game, it says something to the effect of "link error"...

I could be wrong though

Oh well, I guess I'll stick to LTTP on the GBA and 4S+ on the GC.

you can play with one player in four swords adventure(gcn) and 2 or more in fs(gba)

Yeah, you need at least 2 people to play FS on GBA, but one player is compatable with FSA on GC.
