Oracle Of Ages

I just bought this game yesterday. I'm on the second Level and the boss is soo hard! *lol* I've died like six times already trying to kill him! It's the boss that spins in a circle with different faces and you gotta throw a bomb in his head on the red face! I'll beat him eventually but how hard are the other bosses!?

NEW:
Okay I bet the boss after dying like 12 times. *lol* But now I am stuck on that island game (with the ToKay) you have to play like 5 times to get the Gasha Seed! It's a tricky game and kinda annoying really... I can't even figure out how to plant the darn things! I'll come back to play it later! I'm on Level 3 now! YAY! Gotta stop for now though... my eyes need a break...

Re: Oracle Of Ages

Ahhh! The Oracle of Ages. If you are stuck on Cresent Island, wait until you get to Level 8!
Answering your question baby_neptune, to plant the Scent Tree seedling, you must go to a Tokay that is in the nursary northeast to the location where you washed ashore. You are going to need you Power Bracelet to reach him. Talk to him. When you retrieve your Harp of Ages, in the future, you will have a Scent Tree.

Why don't you print out what you need and take it to your room?

If you have trouble with this stuff your gonna have a problem with the rest of the game, fotr me the game was easy.

But, Veran, the final boss, she is actually easier then the dunguons bosses (to me)

Re: Oracle Of Ages

Oracle of Ages 2nd boss? Oh yes, I hate bosses with random attack patterns like that. He's only the second boss so, of course the other bosses are harder. I believe oracle of seasons is much more difficult, i especially hate the gleegok(unsure of spelling), the 2-3 headed dragon that spits very powerful fire and stuns you in its 2nd form if you don't jump. Oracle of Ages is so much more funner though.

Re: Oracle Of Ages

Ah, the memories of Oracle of Ages. I haven't played that game for so long, yet I played through it like eight times when I got it nearly two years ago. Yes, the second boss is hard, and several other places have challenging enemies, puzzles, and bosses (the dancing thing just takes practice; I've finished it on platinum before, and it helps to use a thumb on A and a thumb on B). However, I find Ages and Seasons have about the same difficulty, because they both become really easy once you have most of the patterns memorized (like boss 7 on Seasons; I can kill it while getting hit only two or three times).

The Oracle series is excellent, and using a guide may ruin the experience unless you're extremely stuck on finding something small (it happens to the best of us). Persistence is key.

Now, I still need to find that First Gen Ring...

Re: Oracle Of Ages

I like Level 6 on Ages; its fun doing the dancing thing, even though Im not really good at it, and the boss is cute, in a scary kinda way.

I beat Gleeok first go; I wasnt even sure what I was doing and jus randomly mashing the buttons.

For real? I found it quite easy(after I got some headphones so I could hear the moves better). lol. If I were to beat it now, my TV would help me. The Gameboy player is awsome... Just go into a quite room and turn the volume all the way up and make sure that your hands are relaxed.

Okay sorry off topic. Umm.. About the Tokay, all you have to do is throw meat at them. If that's the part you are stuck on. IUt may take a few tries(took me over a million because I always missed the last one), but you'll get the hand of it

Re: Oracle Of Ages

jeez you guys are sissies!!! oracle of ages is so easy i beat it in two days on my very first playthrough! as fo oracle of seasons, i did it in half THAT time on my first playthrough. but i did notice one thing... Oracle of Ages is a more Puzzle-Orientated game, while Oracle of Seasons requires more combat skill to get you through. i hardly noticed as theyre both so easy, but i read an article about it and played them again to find out. and i noticed. you know, ive beat Onox with no extra heart-pieces (other than heart containers) or magic potion, or even a sword upgrade (thats right, none at all)? sorry if i sound all braggy but i just cant believe some of you get stuck on the L-2 boss, or the goron dancing for instance. just post and ill tell you how to get past it. or give you tips. or whatever's relevant...
