Mermaid Statue

I thought when you beat OoA that the statue of a mermaid in Lynna Village/City was supposed to turn into a statue of Link, but in my game, for some reason it hasn't.

Does it not change into a statue of Link in a linked game?

Also, what is the Hero's Secret at the end of a linked game for? What's different about your game if you use that code?

Yes there are some differences on a heros file not many though here are some:
triforce by file name
you can get secrets like on a secret file
start with 4 heart contianers
No Ganon or Twinrova unlike a secret file
start with victory ring instead of getting friendship ring from Vasu

thats about all, and to answer your other question you don't get a statue when you beat Oos on a secret file, you can't save beating Ganon either.

Yah you can, I saved after beating Ganon, so Veran, Twinrova and Ganon are all beaten on my game and if I wanna watch the credits I just go to the room where Zelda is and wake her up.

no the statue doesn't change. I mean you can't save beating ganon and then explore the game and have the people in the game reconize that you did it, i already knew you can save beating him, sorry i worded it wrong before.

Well that's stupid that it doesn't change in a linked game.
