I don't believe so, but I could be wrong. My biggest suggestion would be to go to ebay and look for a gameboy + LA package from someone. Gaming stores which sell used games usually no longer carry N64, SNES, NES and gameboy games, but you could look around, it shoudl be relitively cheap.

I think the Microplay by my house sells all the old games still, I just don't know if I want to spend my money on a gameboy just for L.A.

You can play it on either the original Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, or Gameboy Advance SP. You should be able to find LA on ebay, and you can easily find a Game Boy Advance SP somewhere.

You can play it on the snes using a super gameboy :p. But seriously, just buy a gba sp and link's awakening. It's a great game and well worth the money. Besides you need a gameboy if you're ever going to play the oracle games which are also excellent.

You see, THIS is another reason I wasn't too keen with the BC of the DS. It only goes as far as GBA. Think of the goods we're missing on the Color
So from what I know, nope. Shame on you, Nintendo, mistreating the classic gamers in such a manner.

I have it on mine!
You know what's easier? Buy the GBA copy of the game and play on your DS Lite. That's what I do with AlttP.

There is no GBA copy of Link's awakening.

No.
LA is worth playing regardless, and a Gameboy is perhaps the most correct way to do so.

You need one of the following to play Link's Awakening.
  1. Game Boy
  2. Game Boy Pocket
  3. Game Boy Color
  4. Game Boy Advance
  5. Game Boy Advance SP
  6. Super NES & Super Game Boy
  7. GameCube & Game Boy Player

Neither the Game Boy Micro or Nintendo DS can play Game Boy or Game Boy Color games. The Game Boy Player cannot be connected to the Wii.

I strongly suggest investing in a Game Boy Advance SP.

With that, a DS, and a Wii, you can play any Zelda game.

It's alright, just check out the rules, it's not that long of a page and it's kinda important you read them.
