Summary of Oracle games?

I was thinking of working up a timeline, but I've never played the Oracle games. Would someone mind explaining them in a nut shell, and maybe just adding a few tid bits I may need to know for the timeline? Thanks a bunch.

If I may, I'd very much like to take the easy way out here. Uncle Meat wrote an article which covers every aspect of these games, and how they relate to the rest of the series. From what little connections that can be found within the games, the seemingly best option would be for them to be placed after your favorite, AoL. I'm not going to say where it fits in the timeline because I don't know (no one knows besides some guys at Nintendo).

you can play them in either order and Nintendo has not stated which one comes first in the timeline (that is if there is only one timeline)

OOA:
-triforce tells link to go to labrynna
-link meets impa
-they meet Nayru who can control time (years)
-impa is possessed by an evil spirit (Veran)
-Veran captures Nayru and messes up time
-link goes to Maku tree
-Maku tree dies
-link travels back in time when Maku tree was still alive
-link needs to collect 8 essences of time to restore maku tree
-link travels back and forth in time collecting the essences
-Ambi the queen of Labrynna gets possessed by Veran
-Link defeats Veran
-Link travels to Subrosia (can be the other way around too)

OOS:
-triforce tells link to go to Subrosia
-link meets Impa and Din
-Din is the goddess of the seasons
-Onox appears and f***s everything up
-seasons get messed up
-link meets Maku tree
-link needs to collect 8 essences of nature
-link needs to make use of seasons to collect essences of nature
-link uses rod of seasons (which gradually becomes stronger) to change seasons
-link defeats Onox
-seasons change to normal
then:
if OoA has not been finished
-Link needs to go to labrynna
if it has been finished
-Twinrova capture princess Zelda
-flame of sorrow , destruction and despair are lit
-ganon gets revived
-link defeats ganon
-link uses boat or raft to return to hyrule

Now I always figured that Link's Awakening came after the Oracle series because of the specific 'link uses boat or raft to return to hyrule' ending. But alot of people would argue about that.

yah, its sorta like how the gameboy advanced can play old gameboy games.
the ds can play gba games also.

but i dont know which one the oracles are for

1. the oracles are GBC games. they dont work in a ds. sorry.
2. here's how my summary goes:

-Link is called by the Teiforce to a hidden room in Hyrule Castle.
-Triforce sends Link to a distant land to fulfill a new quest
(split)
OOS
-Link ends up in Holodrum.
-Link wakes up and meets Inpa and Din (Oracle of Seasons)
-Onyx comes and takes Din, screws up seasons.
-Link meets Maku Tree (male)
-Link must obtain 8 Essences of Nature to restore Maku Tree's full abilities.
-Link finds strange land of Subrosia
-Link finds Rod of Seasons and Temple of Seasons.
-Link collects Essences and powers up Rod with the power of the seasons.
-Link gets Maku Seed, can enter Dark Tower
-Link fights (and defeats) Onyx, saves Din and Holodrum
-Twinrova is shown to have a plot to revive Ganon.
-Onyx's actions light the Flame of Destruction

OOA
-Link wakes up in Labrynnia.
-Link saves Imoa from beasts.
- Link and Impa meet Nayru. (Oracle of Ages)
-Impa was possessed by Veran, Veran possesses Nayru.
-Veran goes back in time and messes with the ancient Queen Ambi and her tower.
-Link meets Maku Tree (female).
-Maku Tree dies because of messed up past.
-Link finds Harp of Ages.
-Link goes back in time and saves Maku Tree. (Maku Tree says they will be married.)
-Link must collect 8 Essences of Time to restore Maku Tree's full abilities.
-Link travels through time and collects Essences and powers up Harp with power of Tunes.
-Ambi becomes possessed by Veran after Link saves Nayru.
-Link gets Maku Seed, can enter Black Tower.
-Link fights (and defeats) Veran, saving Ambi, and the rest of Holodrum, past and present.
-Twinrova is shown.
-Veran's actions light Flame of Despair.

Linked Game
After beating both games, you get a password and can enternit in the other game to continue the quest. Same things happen, and in the end, 2/3 flames are lit. (Despair and Destruction) Throughout the linked game, however, Zelda makes numerous appearances, and gets stolen by Twinrova after defeating Veran/Onyx to be sacrificed to light the last flame, the Flame of Sorrow.
-Portal to Dark Realm (or where ever it is) is opened.
-Link follows Twinrova.
-Link fights (and defeats) Twinrova.
-Twinrova sacrifices self to light FoS and revive Ganon.
-Messes up and makes a mindless freak Ganon.
-Link fights and defeats Ganon, saves everyone and everything.
-People party, and Link leaves by boat/raft for Hyrule.

The End.
