I'm talking about hitting the guy in the Red Lion ship, on Phantom Hourglass.

How many times have you successfully hit him, without losing all your lives (3 lives)?

To estimate, since I don't feel like checking, I think about 350 hits. I'm trying to get the rest of the Demon parts for my ship, so I keep doing this.

I'm a little confused. I am on my way to face Bellum now and i have done pretty much everything else in the game. And collected everything.

Why have i not come across the red lion ship yet? I've not even seen it. 8(

He is in the south-eastern area of the North-Western map. It looks like a huge King of Red Lions, and the guy on-board dresses up like you. Talk to him a few times, and he will ask you to train with him. Train with him enough, and you can do a mini-game similer to the Orca swordsman training from WW.

I think my record is somewhere around 700 or 800.

It got immensely tedious after a while, like most of Phantom Hourglass come to think of it.

Ditto. I was going against him to see if anything happened after you beat your record again, and thought "Eh, why not go for 999?" I didn't make it. D: I made a couple of stupid mistakes.

i was hoping the whole 'higher hit count, rarer parts' rule would work
but yeah, i got 'worn handrail'.
