Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

Hello! I am new to the forum... I am seeking out help with zelda, the minnish cap.

I can't figure out how to "throw a bomb" I am trying to get the bomb bag to carry more bombs. I have checked a couple of walkthrough/faq's, but the just tell me to throw the bomb into the spirit shrine.... I can't throw it. I can only set in on the ledge. (which is ineffective)

Thanks in advance for help!

If my memory serves, you pick up (and throw) a bomb the same way you pick up pots, or bushes. The "R" button, I think.

Yes, that's right.

But you forgot something... which is useful to know. Just know that if you pick up a bomb with R, it can explode while you are holding it, and hurt Link. So don't hold bombs for too long.

Yes, I'm afraid it is too late in the game for you to do it.

That, and you weren't exactly looking in the right location. To find the man with the ghost, you have to fuse a kinstone. This should open up a path into the clouds where you find him, and rid him of the ghost.

It also has to be done before gettinng to the Cloud Tops, I believe, because it is there that he will give you the Light Arrows.

can't throw the bomb still....

hmmmmm..... It is sooooo early in the game to be running into snafu's...... I play the game through a gamecube portal (on my television), so maybe I will borrow my son's gba and try it out and see if I have any more luck. Thanks for the answers, and if you think of anything else (in terms of throwing the bomb) let me know!

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

Ok, I've got a problem in TMC. I'm just about to battle Vaati, and I never got the Silver Arrows. I know that I don't NEED them, but I'd just like to have them for fun, since there's not much else to do other than beat the game. Does anyone know if I can still get them at this point in the game? I created that warp to the Cloud place (forgot the name), but the old man and the ghost aren't there anymore...

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

This is probably the most asked question about TMC. If you'd read around, you'd find that:

The light arrows are not available if you went to the cloud tops via Veil Springs before getting rid of the ghost.

Oh really? I didn't find any info anywhere...o.O
Thanks for your help, though! Maybe I'll just play the game another time through to get them.

No.

As for the third house... it's not that they took it out, they just never put it in in the first place. Lazy... At least it wasn't as rushed as tWW.

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

Ok so if you can only get homes for 2 of the girls you'll never be able to get a charm from the third. I know Din's charm makes your attacks stronger, Nayru's charm boosts your defence, what does Farore's charm do?

Farore's charm does both at once.

But I believe that it isn't as powerful as having just the Din's Charm or Nayru's Charm. Also, it turns Link's tunic puple. Yes, you heard right - purple.

Perhaps because it is a mixture of Din (Red) and Nayru (Blue)?
