Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to kill the big Dongorongo lizard in PH? I don't get it. Little Goron talks about "target attack" and then "hit him repeatedly on its side" but when I do it nothing happens, just a clink of metal. I use the Bombchus to stun th lizard and try to hit its side with the little goron (forget his name) but he just gets hurt.

Any ideas?

Read the thead, or check it out somewhere else.
OR, figure it out youself, my ever so smart, Greek loving friend

Its a very simple puzzle, if you take the time to realize that you're looking at it the wrong way

Alternatively, I could just use the HELP thread....especially when there are 300 lines of Sophokles still to translate.

Instead, head to the central safe zone here, to the north of the barrel room. It'll give you the code for the levers near the beginning of the level: 2, 4, 5, 1, 3. What you need to do is place the numbers on top of the levers and then pull them in that order. So, since the order is 24513, you first pull the lever fourth from the left, then the leftmost lever, then the rightmost lever, then the second lever from the left, then the middle lever. Head back to the levers and pull them in this manner, then return to the north side of the barrel room and enter it. There's a pressure plate inside; stand on it to release the flames to the west.

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

How many "Sea Charts" are in this game and is there a FAQs about them anywhere online? I have scoured tons of Walks and none of them even mention the words, "Sea Charts" as item or anything else .

Is there a red door involved in getting a chart?

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

Assuming "this game" is referring to Phantom Hourglass, there are four sea charts (NW, NE, SW, SE) and they're all in the Temple of the Ocean King. And yes, I do believe there is at least one red door involved.

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

I have a spare golden cannnon to borrow if I can figure out how to use wi-fi. In the mean time, just do the configurations for the touch-screen( can't think of what you call it)

Different canons don't change the stats of shooting. It just makes it a different style. (So Golden Canons aren't better than the rest. They just look better. They are better when it comes to the ship's stamina meter).

Ok, Duhlusion, as for your problem, I have two solutions.

1. Customize your ship. The more common parts your ship has, the higher it's stamina will be. Just don't care about how it looks, care that your stamina is high. If you have a complete set, use it, in order for your stamina to be up to seven hearts.

2. The Possessed Phantom Ship shoots out those pink "canon balls". Something you should deffinentally know: You can destroy those canon balls! When you destroy a canon ball it either does two things: Disappears (so you won't get hurt) or turns into a Ship Stamina Heart Piece.

This isn't the only time that you could could have done this exact same thing (you have to expect the ship to have some sort of defence other than running away). When you fought against that big Sea Deku Baba, it shot out green spikey balls (you could have destroyed those balls with your canon balls). When you fought against that large flying whale type thing, and it shot out those electricity balls, you could have shot those down. Whevever you went toe to toe with those "Miniblin Ships", and they fire canon balls at you, if you aim it just right, your canon ball can collide with theirs and both will be destroyed.

So my word of advice is this: Shoot the ship's pink canon balls first, and then fire at the ships eyes. If you don't defend yourself, the battle may not last that long.

Re: Official Handheld Zelda Help Thread

Hmm...but the thing is, wherever I shoot the cannonballs, it doesn't go exactly where I want it to--but rather, it goes 'over' it. By the time I aim it right, the blob has already hit me.

In addition, the eyes on top of the ship blasts some more blobs, so in total, three blobs are hurtling towards me!

That's because canonballs don't go in a straight line. They hit objects from a curve. But if that doesn't satisfy you, there are two options:
1. Work with it. Instead of aiming right at what you want, target slightly below it.
2. It may be your DS touchscreen.
