Bad Luck!

Has this ever hapened to you? I was in the car, playing Zelda GBA and my sister 'accidently' spiled the Pepsi into our gamebox. We tried to save them but it was too late! The saving was disabled and all the files were erased. Have any of you had any worse luck?And i had finished OoA, twice!

It;s off topic, but still on topic. :confused: Well it did, but not for Zelda. I was playing Spyro: Ripto's Rage(For Playstation for those that didn't know), and I beat like 5 levels and although it had automatic save, I couldn't find my memory card.
Anyways, I went looking for it. My cat decideds to come in my room(at that time my room was in the basement and there was no door to it), and walk around. Next thing you know, he starts walking on my system. Big button, little foot, he opens the top and the game freezes. Then, he resets it, such a nice cat. I was soooooo mad!! I threw him upstairs(not litterally) and yelled soo much.

Yeah. I think there was another time when I was playing Oracle of Seasons. I finally beat Onox(my friend said I needed a game shark but I beat him), and guess what? I went to go fight Twinrova(I was also in the car), we had to get out, And... I shut the game off. Man was I mad!!

Double Edit: Felix-Forever that is basically the same thing that happened to me. We were going to McDonalds, I said wait just let me save, I got out of the car, put the game in my pocket and shut it off.

I also had bad luck with another Zelda game(two games this time)
First, my little bro was being a bum and erased my Oot FILE, aLL 20 HEARTS, EVERY WEAPON, everything.
Second, I brought my OoA to the Phillipines and it never came back!(aghhhhhh)

None of this was as bad as this:
I was playing OoA (yes I was in the car) and we stopped at some fast food place to get some lunch, well I just did the stupidest thing I said: (out loud)
"I think I'll save now" and turned off the game... it figures. This incedend happened another time right after I got back to where I was before...figures again! When you say you're gonna save, you should do it! Also, I lost my LA game pak (as you may have read on my LA topic!)

I lost my Link's Awakening game pak... found it again, then wore it down til it stopped working well.

Bought a new one, then, a couple years later, bought the DX version. Then my first copy started working again, for no apparent reason. Now I have three fully functional LA cartridges

I borrowed my friends A Link to the Past Game Pak and i accedentily put it through the wash. Luckily, it wasn't harmed.

This hasnt happend to me. I take good care of my things. WAsh my hands before playing and dont eat/drink around it.

Yah, me too.

One time I was playin OoA and had just completed almost all of the seventh dungeon without saving. Then, right before the boss, I thought I should save. So I pressed A, B, Start, and Select all at the same time. That brings you to the save screen right? Wrong, that only works in LA. In OoA it resets your game. I hate that dungeon too.

Ok, so this isn't exactly bad luck, but my 'friend', Ellie, erased my game on OoT and whenever I started a new game on it, she just kept erasing it!

I lost my OOA game pack once, and I found it, but It would continually glitch up and freeze. It sucked! Badly! Otherwise, beside that, no.

This isnt zelda, but anyway i had made my bother mad so he decided to hide my mario kart game on top of the microwave. Anyway i couldnt find it and he refused to tell me where it was. About a month later i found it melted to the top of the microwave. That is pretty bad luck.

What i did wasnt so much luck, it was more stupidity when Zelda OoT came out i was also into pokemon and very young so it being the first zelda game i was to get i ended up calling link pikachu (shuddup dont laugh) and even more stupid i spelled it wrong, so now i havn't gone through the game as link i guess thats a reason to play again......heheh

You have to wonder why exactly Capcom chose this. They should realize that all us hardcore Zelda fans have developed habits by now. Eventually I changed my habit...eventually...

That's too bad, I had my file erased in A Link to the Past by some kid who wanted to play a new file (even though there was 2 blank files below that one... >:O But I guess you'll have to beat it again.

Once my out of control cat Queenie RAN across the room, between me and the console+TV, and somehow tripped over the controller's wire, and unplugged it
I think once a big truck came rambling down the street and froze my super nintendo game, lol.

i had that happen to me, i stuck one of my old paks by my phone, it erased most of the data, i subjest you don't try this as if you trade any items that have 50% data then it mucks up both paks.
