Darn Like like

In ALttP I was playing around in the Palace of the Foursword (which I have beaten now). Anyways while playing in it a damn like like ate my mirror shield. Well it took me awhile to find the store where a shield could be bought. I bought the first shield since it was all that was there. After that I beat the palace and I'm now wondering where I can get my precious mirror shield back. Any answers?

Doesn't the LikeLike give the shield back when it is killed?

Well I killed it to get my precious shield back but it just gave me a rupy.

You know, I've never encountered this problem. I have no idea.

Try some of the shops in the Dark world. And the Queen Fairy's fountain, wherer you get the level 4 sword and the Silver Arrows. Then try the Gamefaqs message board. Finally, if all else fails, go back to the treasure chest in Turtle Rock.

I just don't get why it didnt give you back the shield when you killed it...never happened to me either.

Ack! It did happen to me, just not on ALttP! What I did was got killed and turned thing thing off before I would click Save and Continue!
