Two Oracle of Ages questions

I have recently been playing Oracle of Ages, and I have two questions about the game.

First, regarding the rings, does the Advance Time ring (the one that you buy in the Advance shop) do anything?

Second, I am stuck on the part where you have to ride Moosh across the open holes in the graveyard to reach Cheval's grave. I keep falling during the last part where you have to jump over the three-holes-in-a-row at the top of the screen. Can anybody give me tips on how to get across?

Re: Two Oracle of Ages questions

I don't think the Advance Ring does anything... it's basically just for people who want a full collection, I think.

As for the second question... you shouldn't really be havign that problem. I don't remember exactly how to contorl Moosh, but I remember that 3 holes wasn't even a problem at all for him... Perhaps you aren't tapping the button fast enough or something.

I think I know your problem... you ahve to TAP the buttonw, really fast. (when I first read the instructions I thought you ahd to hold the button...) if that doesn't help, just keep trying.

Re: Two Oracle of Ages questions

The ring does absolutely NOTHING, but if you're like me then you'll want it for the sake of having everything.

Yes, I had the same problem with Moosh, but it basically does come down to pressing the button even quicker.

Re: Two Oracle of Ages questions

The ring does nothing, but is very cool too look at and completes your collection.

Now for Moosh, when you get at the edge of the hole, start tapping A. Don't wait until you are in to start moving. The second you jump, control were you are going while tapping A.

Hope that helps

I can't even remember, all I know is that I had trouble with the hole jumping too! But as everyone has said, it all comes down to tapping A (or B I can't remember) faster.

answer

The ring does nothing and to get past the holes set down the gameboy on a flat surface and press the button real fast you could go over about 6 holes doing that.

Re: Two Oracle of Ages questions

I have a question: If you play the game over again (using a password) and can trade secrets with people from the previous games then to Farore (in the Deku Tree), you can receve many gifts. So far I have recieved these weopons: Master Sword, Mirror Shield, Bombchus, and the Big Goron Sword. Has anyone else found more weopons you can get from secrets?
