Official Phantom Hourglass thread: Spoiler Warning!!

Due to a complaint about the overwhelming amount of PH threads, I have deemed it practical to make an official PH thread. Any discussion about this game will be continued here, so people like me and Mayor Adam West can browse the Handheld forum without fear of being spoiled.

Sorry for any inconvenience, but I'll be shutting down all other PH threads.

It sounds good, and I understand its for the good of those who have not played it yet, but...

Won't it turn into a hassle, having every single question and comment about PH crammed into one thread?

No problem.

Locking down over half of the front page of that forum may have negative ramifications, but hopefully I won't get hate email. I already got fussed at once for an unrelated thread locking.

The only thing I dont get about this thread is what if some people want to discuss certain things like wifi while other people are talking about actual gameplay, wouldnt it be difficult to find each post if, lets say you were holding a wifi tournament and wanted to find who was signing up but the posts were seperated by people discussing other things.

Okay so if anyone is wanting to battle or trade, if you have aim or some form of instant messaging we should establish something that is easier to talk over than forum posts and private messages. I think instant messaging would be easier to discuss what parts to trade or something along those lines. My aim screen name is ACrimsonTree so hit me up if anyone feels like trading or doing a few battles.

I need 2 parts for the demon ship, the sickle anchor ant the Demon Prison, I'm still doing an inventory, but if youre looking for something, just ask, i might have it.

So, anyone wanna continue on the discussion of the rather confusing ending? (Whether or not they really entered another world or whether the whole thing was time travel.)

Continuing on, I think, once again, that Linebeck is the real key to the whole thing.

To recap the past arguments...

If Linebeck is from the Ocean King's realm, then there's no reason for him to be dumped into the "real" Great Sea. On the other hand, if he's from the "real" Great Sea but nobody else is, then there's no reason for his girlfriend and her sister to be running around as well. So with all that in mind, it must be assumed that the Ocean King's realm is an entirely separate entity, kinda like a very wet Heaven.

I can only think of two possibilities at this point:

1. Time Travel is the big one. It's pretty obvious that Ciela has time-related powers, so who's to say a big fish didn't?

2. The Pirates were "captured" by the ghost ship, and were "frozen" (can't think of a better word) until the end of the adventure, about the time Link and Tetra woke up. At that point, they found themselves still tailing the ghost ship as if little or no time had passed.
