Tag mode is to trade treasure/ship parts with someone nearby.

A better thing to do, IMO, is to simply play the game online. Every once in awhile, you'll run into an online player and you'll automatically swap items. Make sure the pink barrels are working before you try it. (Otherwise, nothing will happen.)

Question. This thread has a spoiler warning. That implies that discussion of spoilers is to take place here.

So, how are people supposed to organize trades and battles, or other non-spoiler things without having the story spoiled for them?

Don't lock EVERY thread on the front page because it's related to PH.

Plus, not to mention people have only gotten to certain points of the game, for example I just had to skip over ending spoilers really fast cuz I haven't beaten the game yet.

Plus you'll be discussing so many different topics over each other and it'll get really confusing.

There is the Multiplayer thread. That was reopened. I suppose that trading would fall into that, methinks.

I'm glad it was a dream. The entire game seemed so "dreamlike" and weird. It makes sense with the ending.

Overall, the only part of the game that reminded me of Wind Waker and it's quality was the last 30 minutes or so of the game.

Good game, not good enough. 8.6 if I had to score it.

Oh, and Nintendo, PLEASE make another direct The Wind Waker sequel! There's so much potential and so much material to do! Oh, and make it for Wii. PH is a nice change but there's really no comparing it with Wind Waker or Twilight Princess.

Well, I can't please everybody. Yes, it's easier for Mods and anyone else who doesn't want to be spoiled. The rest of you will just have to wait a while until all the hype wears down, so the whole forum isn't bogged down with PH threads.

Too many threads choke down others not relaed to the same topic. Just look at all the Naruto threads that were in the anime section. Some people like Luke Groundwalker made threads that didn't have anything to do with Naruto, because they dislike Naruto, but Naruto was so popular that it bogged down the forum.

Theat's why Official discussion topics were created, I believe. Eventually I'll take this down when the hype wears off.

I don't have the power to make subforums for each game. Whether that would actually be practical or not.

So, until the most holy mods, and the few people that don't have the game finally get around to getting it, no-one else is allowed to talk about it. You could resolve this just as easily by enforcing rules stating that people must request for help the proper way, ie state which game they need help in, and include spoiler tags if they are necessary. Don't just cut off all discussion simply because you don't want the game spoiled. Don't be a mod if you're not willing to make sacrifices.

Oh gosh...that is hilarious... That gave me nearly as many laughs as the recent VGCatz...

I do agree that the series should have more games in the Wind Waker era and beyond. It is also best suited to spinoff material, due to lack of Ganondorf, Triforce, and Master Sword. The fact that those three things have become non-issues in the post-apoctalyptic Great Ocean of Wind Waker opens up completely new story material. It should also be noted that with Hyrule and its assorted relics of the triforce seemingly gone for good, there doesn't necessarily need to be a future Link or Zelda. However, they might make a good starting point for this new world's mythology. The Phantom Sword might actually be a piece of a bigger puzzle. Even though it is seemingly gone, we're left with the hourglass as a hint that what happened wasn't just a dream...

Whatever you believe on the issue of the timeline, I've always stuck to the idea that Wind Waker was intended as a definite ending point of the whole Ganondorf/Triforce thing. I don't believe in a "raised" or "unsunk" Hyrule appearing after the fact. The King wished for it to be drowned so that the past could be forgotten and the new world could prosper. This is yet another reason that Phantom Hourglass may indeed be the beginning of the "non traditional" Zelda games.
