Who would like to see a port of Wind Waker?

Personally, after playing PH I'd really like to see more of this style of Zelda. I love the art, I only play Zelda on Handhelds, and I really want to play wind waker now that I've played PH. So, who would like to see this?

It would be great, but they would have to make the game like phantom hourglass.different from before. Besides. They already have PH. I would still get it though. If PH was a sequel to the wind waker, why couldn't they let you pick up other weapons. That was fun.

Wind Waker hasn't been around long enough. A re-release with extra content would be nice, but then again, it's not terribly hard to find a used copy at Gamestop.

Spend your time wishing for Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Re: Who would like to see a port of Wind Waker?

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with this. WW hasn't been out for long enough, and it's a GameCube game; it's much harder to port GC games to the DS. It may not even be possible. They CAN do it with the N64, so yeah, I really hope they port OoT to the DS! (Again, it may not be possible; it is considerably bigger than Super Mario 64). I wouldn't get your hopes up about WW...but it might happen. If you're lucky.

I was going to say that next haha! If they ported it to a handheld then MAYBE I'd play it. I mean they've ported mario cart AND mario 64 and those are equally as old.

I don't know about a remake, but maybe another game in that style, I'd like.

NO!

The Wind Waker should only be on GameCube/Wii.

It'd suck if they uglified it and put in on DS. Ugh, I hope they don't do it.

NO!

It, wouldn't work. The DS simply doesn't have enough processing power.

Actually, it wouldn't. It would rather be a gigantic flaw in their production of the Legend Of Zelda series. Considering 2 out of the 14 official Zelda games are already cell-shaded, then consequently, this idea would get very repetetive.

Initially, it was very catchy towards the regular Zelda fan, but milking it normally shouldn't be good either. So, assuming this, I'd highly doubt whether there will be a next cell-shaded Zelda for the upcoming years, don't get your hopes up already, friend.

Aww... *sniff*
They have 3 3D games in realistic style, why not that many in cell shaded?

Well, I personally believe Cell-shaded is less realistic, thus less entertaining.

Just a view of mine, a very unreasonable one.

Re: Who would like to see a port of Wind Waker?

I still need another cell shaded Zelda game!! Come on Nintendo! I need one!
The remakes would be good, but not if they made too many of them. (if it made OoT for the DS, I'd be fine with it. Even though they would have to edit it a little. And i would want to keep most of the 3-D elements.) They should still make more cell shaded one for the Wii or DS.

I'm certainly not trying to be picky or something, but, if Nintendo were to re-release Ocarina of Time again, I'd rather die immediately. Ocarina Of Time has simply been released too many times, over and over again. And obviously, there exist retards who constantly tend to buy them over and over again.

Seriously, though, Ocarina Of Time DS would actually consists of the Nintendo 64's graphics slightly updated and some more sophisticated gameplay.

Re: Who would like to see a port of Wind Waker?

I don't care if they do or not. Obviously they've made a game like TWW, and I still have my copy of TWW. I don't need a remake, as I'm not one of the ones who sold my GC or just stuck it in a closet never to be played again.

TWW isn't that old.

It may just be me, but I don't think sequels have ever kept exactly every single game mechanic the same.

A prime example: Final Fantasy 10 - Final Fantasy 10-2.

Final Fantasy 7.

Re: Who would like to see a port of Wind Waker?

I will buy any Zelda game for the DS. Port or not. I love being able to take it anywhere I go. I wouldn't rush out and get them right away, but if I was going on a long trip I would go get them. The ports would really come in handy.

Yep yep. Besides, WW is a HUGE game. There is no way they could cram the game on to a DS card without butchering it. If you want portable WW go play PH. That's as close as you're going to get for a long, long time. Though, I wonder how WW would fair if they turned it realistic.
