Just a question (PH).
Does Phantom Hourglass have night and day in it? That is, does the overworld switch from night to day and affect events in towns and other populated areas? All the "main" Zelda games, that is, the 3D ones, (Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, Twilight Princess) have this feature, but none of the top-view ones do, as far as I know. However, since Phantom Hourglass is a sequel to The Wind Waker and appears to have 3D parts in it, I still haven't given up hope that it won't follow in its predecessor's footsteps. I did see a dark sailing bit in Phantom Hourglass in a video, but that looked more like a storm, so I'm not completely sure. At any rate, I'm just curious, since Phantom Hourglass won't be out in Australia 'til the 11th (which will likely be the 12th for me, since the Wikipedia release date was probably American-dated) and I haven't been able to find any direct answers on the Internet or on online videos.

Re: Just a question (PH).
I have never seen it become night but the Masked "Beetle" said he would only stay for 8 days, and I've never seen him again.

Re: Just a question (PH).
No, it never really turns to night. There are a couple storms, but thats really the closest there is to dark skies.

It would have been cool to have night and day. I thought about it before when i was sailing.

Official Phantom Hourglass thread: Spoiler Warning!!
I have made an official Phantome Hourglass thread, and shall now divert all discussion of PH to that thread. Sorry, but this is for the good of those who haven't played. |
