Phantom Hourglass: Favorite Ship Parts?

In Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourgass, what are your favorite ship parts? I got the guide free with the game so I know all the parts, sets.

Do you use a full set of parts, or have your own design? If you can, list the parts you use to build your ship. Or name the type of set you use, (Demon, Tropical, Golden, Ancient, or others).

Using parts from the same set add to the boats health,
Three of a kind: +1 heart
Six of a kind: +2 hearts
Full Complete set: +3 hearts

However the Gold Ship Parts are different,
Two gold parts: +1 heart
Four gold parts: +2 hearts
Six gold parts: +3 hearts
Full Complete Gold Ship: +4 hearts

I don't have many ship parts but this is my "current" ship, right now I use my favorite parts.

Hull= Gold Hull
Handrail= Gold Handrail
Chimney= Gold Chimney
Anchor= Stone Anchor
Cannon= Gold Cannon
Bridge= Peaceful Bridge
Wheel= Stone Wheel

Ill update my list when I change its look.

Gold cannon and handrails,
Iron hull and anchor,
random parts.

It is difficult but I'm trying to construct a gold ship. ITS GOLD! I'm pretty sure that the solid gold ship has the most health but that is only my speculation. My current setup has 6 health.

I haven't bothered to get many ship parts so I just use the ones that I've got.

I'm currently using default for everything except I have Demon Bridge, Demon Wheels, Demon something else and the cannon...I forget the name, wore down cannon?

I hate the look of the demon ship but those parts are the only stuff I get a bonus with I also have two metal parts but they're evil uglier.

I have just about everythig golden. The only thing that I don't is my canon which is ancient. The moment I find the gold canon .......

I only have 3 parts right now, but I've been looking at all the parts in my guide and I will definatly collect them all and customize my ship. Do any of the parts actually make the ship better? like a canon that shoots farther, a hull that gives you more HP, etc.?

No but if you get a bunch of parts from the same set you'll get more HP.

Your max can go to 8.

You get the canon for completing 12 big plays on battle mode, >.> (Just find someone online who will do the big plays with you if you don't care about rank, I cared though and got mine slowly)

I personally use whatever looks good together but I usually stick with golden parts because they're shiny ( : I like to change my look every couple hours to keep my look fresh. I try for at least 6 stamina though so I can stay out fishing for awhile no matter how many pirates decide to follow me.

It's pretty much about how you want your boat to look, just match up sets and with a set amount of pieces you'll get a set amount of more stamina.

Is it possible to get all the golden pieces without big plays?

Anywho, now I have all golden parts. You don't have to touch online play as long as you can cough up the rupees.

Bell prow(its the only other one I have)
Weighty anchor
Dignified ship
Seapony cannon (because for some reason I think it's faster than the others.)
Utility Handrail
Practical Bridge
Tall Chimney
Battle Wheel

I really, really, really want the prow and cannon that go with that matchup. I'd be a happy little camper if I could find those. Every time I get a new ship part it's always either the tropical hull or the ancient hull and I keep getting the same parts for some reason.

I completed every Big Play now^_^

In the order I got them I got,
1. Gold Chimney
2. Gold Handrail
3. Gold Cannon
4. Gold Hull


Right now im having half the stone/castle set for stamina. The other half gold, to keep stamina and a good look. A complete set is a bit boring combine 2 would be interesting.
